Rust and blue, 2 of my favorite colors. This is gorgeous. I love the trees poping in here and there. Did you draw them in?

Karen Owen

The color combo works for me! This is exquisite.

I love these colors together! Your work is so inspiring and wonderful.

LaRinda

Very nice. I probably wouldn't have picked blue and rust either because they're not my normal working colors, but they work so well (oh, yes, opposites). Lovely! --LaRinda :-)

This is absolutely breathtaking! The colors and textures are so soft and inviting that I didn't even notice the nature elements. That just shows how well you blended everything in to make a wonderfully eye-catching piece! Everything blends together so well.

rande, i didn't catch the trees on the first look either. there is so much to see and all put together so perfectly with those delicious layers and colors! i have this urge to reach out and try to touch the textures---it is just so lovely.

Thank you for commenting on my blog! I was so excited to see that you had because I love your work--your color combinations are beautiful and your assemblages make me so wistful, to own one and to make my own. Wow! You made my night.

Oh, and I wanted to ask how you added the trees in the piece above, transfer? stamp? They are so subtle that I didn't catch them in the first look. I love when the odd bits ad pieces come together into something so lovely.

Have a good night!

Marni
