I got the idea for these cards from Stampington's special publication, Worshop 2. There was a feature article by Connie Govea Stuart showing how to create a button card, with a butterfly, mounted on an old button card, and a handmade polymer clay face button. I took the design elements, and made a kind of generic card. I'm thinking these cards can be used for several different types of artwork, or could be used, as is. I have already mounted some of them on decorative, coordinating paper, and then to a greeting card. The background paper is actually a gold metallic paper, and the frames, butterflies, and labels are trim with gold leaf pen. The metallic really doesn't show well in the scan.
